We ventured out on the tandem today. Not that far, but exhilarating even so. Just to confirm my current state of wellness has plenty to do with my incredibly supportive and loving family particularly M, a great deal to do with our wonderful NHS and all the oncology/haematology teams in York District and The Royal Free and absolutely nothing to do with bravery, determination, courage, will-power, a positive spirit, the spirit of any kind, any god, any belief in anything… – it is a triumph of care and science and the best exercise of HUMAN intelligence – and DRUGS. I worship GSK (shame about the corruption but then the worshiped do have a tendency toward corruption.)
