I dont have a picture of the primary school in the 1960’s but the vibe of grey despair is communicated quite well by this early image. While I was there there were a row of temporary huts along the left hand side and another other one on the right hand side. These boxed in the playground and the toilets

I cannot find any relevant pictures of Swanley School in the 60’s and 70’s . It was not the most photogenic environment. Instead here is a detail of the photo above showing me the object of my desire Denise Norman. The two Denise’s in my life are covered in obsessive detail by Tuffin.
